About the Event

The 24th International Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation of Wood Symposium will take place in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on May 19-22, 2026. Co-hosted by the Mississippi State University’s Department of Sustainable Bioproducts (SBP) and the USDA Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) and sponsored by the International Union of Forest Research Organization (IUFRO) Division 5, the symposium will serve as a global forum for those engaged in the nondestructive testing and evaluation (NDT/NDE) of wood. The event will bring together many international researchers, users of various NDT technologies, equipment developers, government representatives, and other stakeholders to share research findings and showcase emerging NDT/NDE technologies. Networking among participants will encourage international collaborations and foster the implementation of NDT/NDE technologies around the world.
